Triggering an HL or Tamiya recoil from the Benedini
This modification harmonizes the DBC3 with the recoil mechanism. No longer do you have to time your shots to prevent false recoils. The cannon only fires and recoils when the IR shot is ready.
The picture above indicates the pins you need to tap into to supply constant power to the recoil mechanism. Red is positive Black is negative.
Negative pin is connected to the relay switch. From the relay this wire attaches to the the negative pole on the

motor.
The trigger wire (represented by green) is attached to the negative pole on the motor and connects to the Benedini pin as shown.
The Parameter file then needs to be modified . The above screen capture indicates what you need to change on the Parameter setting. Where I have circled in red is what you must add. You are telling the Benedini that when sound 3(cannon) is played the Benedini must flash the A1 pin. This is the negative pulse that causes the motor to rotate, opening up the contact switch to connect the negative from the RX 18.
You may have to increase the flash time from the 100 ms pictured to 500 ms if you find the gun does not always trigger.
