Tamiya Sensor Mounts
There is no need to have an individual sensor for each tank. As you can only battle one at a time, you really only need a couple of these. What you do need though is a cost effective way of having a sensor receptacle in each tank. I discovered that the single line two post lego block was a perfect fit for the job.
You drill out the center and square it up with a mini file
Trim the plug and run the 5 pin plug up inside of it from the bottom.
Fashion the orientation pin out of a half tube of styrene tube to ensure you get proper electrical orientation of the sensor.

Note the positive of the five pin plug's orientation to the locating tube. This is important so you get the Tamiya sensor aligned correctly
